I don't have any because I admire everyone's individual look so at the moment I'm admiring Vika Gazinskaya, Sonia Rykiel, Hamish Bowles, Giovanna Battaglia, Carine Roitfeld, Lady Amanda Harlech and my mother. I also admire everyone who wears great tapered trousers.

Personal style quirk?
My fetish is feathers as you can see. I also don't wear anything matchy-matchy and I'll feel naked without accessories especially watches, anything on your wrist. This tends to be the point of argument with my mom.

Lately I cherished everything I buy because I put more consideration into them, but I won't ever let go of my YSL cage heels, a grey jumpsuit I got from Etsy for only $30, my Luella boxy jacket & frill skirt, all my Sonia Rykiel clothes, all my AH dresses, nor my velvet Chanel bag.

won't work if you haven't learn about your body type. You'll need to know which ones to hide and to flaunt, then you can do whatever you want.

I always break this fashion rule…
I never obey dress codes. When there's a costume party I only put on the nicest dress I have with feathers but for day to day I'll look like I just got home from a wedding. I especially hated colour dress codes. I wanted to be able to wear colour according to my mood, not someone else's.

Black tights will always make you look a tad bit taller and skinnier :)

Most underrated item in menswear/womenswear?
Hats, or any headpiece. Your head is your crown, you should decorate it. It'll draw the attention to your face as well, not down below.

Anything at The Strand Arcade in Sydney city, anything at Rue St Honoré (especially Colette) in Paris, Assin in Paddington, Selfridges in London, and online stores.

Favorite vacation spot?
Everywhere in Europe & Bali, no doubt the most beautiful island in the world.

Everywhere, if you open your eyes wide enough

Best stylish movies?
In La Dolce Vita there's a girl who's only on the screen for 2 minutes but caught me for a lifetime, I've posted it before. Every movie with Grace Kelly & Audrey Hepburn in it are also very stylish.

Things I'm tired of seeing in the magazines:

- Editorials where the styling and the models imitate Marilyn Monroe/Twiggy/Madonna/Classic movies. Have they run out of ideas? There are infinite ways to make an editorial without copying past styles.
- Articles about the favourite beauty products of the celebrities. Which is obviously fake, as they have contracts with major beauty brands and they couldn't say the real products they use.
- Editorials featuring models/celebrities with no make-up and no photoshop retouching, and then, on the next pages, the rest of editorials with photoshopped photos.
- The charity work of Angelina Jolie. It is great that she uses her money and her influence to make the world a better place, but I don't like reading about it every month.
- Articles featuring luxury hotels of the Caribbean. I don't really understand why they always make articles about them. Do people really go to those places? Is it necessary to write about them on every issue?
- Editorials with no styling, that is, the model wears the outfit as it appeared on the runway.
- Articles recommending the motorbike leather jacket as the trend of the season. Really? They do it almost every season, in every issue. That, and the trench coat.
- "Eco-friendly" themed articles.
- The best clinics for botox, surgery, etc.
- Interviews to politicians.
- Silly headlines such as "Norma Jean" for an article on denim.
- The horoscope. Does anyone read it anymore?
- Articles translated from the international editions of the magazines, but months later.

Mine:

- Articles about body issues. Come on! Fashion business is risky and if you don't want to risk your body then don't enter it let alone discuss it, it's just hypocritical.

- Articles about Paris Hilton. She doesn't even skim the surface of stylish.

- Articles about cheaper "designer-inspired" stuff that you can find on lower retail stores, especially Australian mags although I admit the retail business here is more to blame. It's still a fake goddammit.

- A spread dedicated to social parties and socialite's pictures, especially Indonesian magazines. I saw once a 10-page spread of some rich businessman's daughter's wedding party and photoshoot and I almost threw up.
- I hated how there are less and less styling advise for real women (one with career, one with children, etc), and too much for party women. I'm dying to see more accessory mixes, trousers, layers, hats and suits and less of a Gossip Girl combination of leather jacket+micromini dress+ankle boots+clutch please.

Apologies for the blog comatose (as if anyone's reading this blog)! I've been really busy with my Major Project. Last semester yippeee! I'm making a short film called The Fates, it used to be called The Switchblade Sisters (and other events) but it turned out to be a derivative so I changed it. I am the director, writer, production designer, costume designer and editor of the movie, the rest is by all my supportive friends. The constant view you get when you drive around Cote D'Azur. We rented a Mercedes around France and got constantly overtaken by these types of cars; Bentley, Maserati, Aston Martin and the like. Mercedes and Audi are like Kijang there now.

Cannes beach. A bit dissapointed by the fact that this famous beach are occupied by expensive restaurants. You have to dine there in order to swim. I prefer the more secluded beach in St Tropez.

Everyday we got bombarded by beautiful castles and spectacular views.

Of all the castles, Chambord is the most charming and peculiar.

My mom went into this small grocery store and asked if they sell cherries and these guys noticed the SLR camera she brought with her, and automatically shouted "HEYY PAPARAZZI!" and asked for a picture taken. How cute!

My dad said London Eye has the greatest ferris wheel. The Singapore Flyer one, although taller, are still incomparable. If you noticed the Sing one looks like an upside down bicycle wheel with two pillars to make it stand up (which looks ugly), whereas the London one was pulled up by 6 massive steel ropes for balance (in picture, sorry I'm bad at explaining civil engineering stuff).

We were lucky to be able to dine at Jules Verne, at Level 2 Eiffel Tower, which I reserved a month before. I strongly suggest you dine there next time you go. You. Won't. Regret. It.

Kong Bar & Restaurant, on the top floor of Kenzo store, if you noticed the glass dome roof, that's it. I'm in love with this restaurant. The interior (Phillipe Starck), the people who dine there (seriously chic, especially the Japanese group sitting next to me, whom I suspect one of them is Kenzo, and one woman wearing head to toe Marni), the waiters bedazzling in tuxedoes, and the food superbly delicious.

Moulin Rouge. I remembered attending a show there as a kid with my family and the rest of the tour group, and in one act the cabaret dancers went out with everything but a bra, and came down and asked my dad to join dancing with them, and I was pleading in horror not to let my father go to the stageeeee.

1. I despise being poked at by a stranger. I am such an antisocial. I am almost always hesitant to shake hands with people I don't know (especially my parent's relatives), let alone kiss each other's cheeks. I hate making conversations with strangers sitting next to me. I won't make eye contact, show a disapproving look, and then putting my headsets on.
2. I'd rather be at home reading a good book and boring myself to death than to go out clubbing.
3. One of the best thing in life is to have arrived home with hands full of shopping bags.

5. I'm in a band. Proud of it!
6. I love blogging. Facebooks may die, but blogs lasts for evaahhhh.

9. To have good life to me means to have a good EQ. There's no such thing as finding out who you really are. I think the motto 'be yourself' is so full of bullcrap. I just figured that now. All this time I've been searching for self-actualization, it never exists. You have to combine a certain amount of fakeness and kindness to live fully. E.g. You don't say bitchy stuff and throw anger at your boss but you also musn't say mean things to your friends behind their backs.
10. I believe in reincarnation, as in I could've been living in Paris in the Renaissance and be reborn like this.
11. I haven't worn jeans (pants) in 3 months. I find them uncomfortable now.
12. To me it's important to be a true lady, but the world's too lazy and modern for girls to be like Audrey Hepburn and the like.
13. My favorite colour is very very very pale seashell pink.
14. I can't resist any kinds of cheese and milk.
15. Mango pudding with milk. Instant mood-lifter.
16. One day I'll travel the whole world. You'll see.
17. I don't like where I am right now (Sydney). People are too lazy and obnoxious. AND RACIST. I also don't like my uni although I love my subjects. Thank goodness I'm getting out of there soon.
18. I had began a deep interest in cooking and home decorating.
19. I'm always passionate about art and art history. I love art that touches my heart and makes me smile or laugh. It frustrates me to see something too vulgar, or too incomprehensible. I love simple art (like kids paintings) that relies on craft and plethoric use of colour and medium.
20. My favorite designers are Karl Lagerfeld (who doesn''t?), Anna Sui, Diane vF, Viktor & Rolf, SONIA RYKIEL, Alber Elbaz and Alberta Ferretti. All of them are classic! LV GUCCI DIOR can burn in Indonesia along with those obnoxious socialites.
21. While I'm submerged in art and music and clothes and aesthetically-temporarily-satisfactory stuff, my sister is the little genius who gets a conditional offer at Manchester and London School of Economics. for POLITICAL SCIENCE.
22. My dad is smarter than Albert Einstein. He's genius and funny all the time. He's like a walking encyclopedia.
23. Whilst my mother has a very big charisma that can destroy mountains and sends your secretary crying under the office desk.
24. I've always wanted to offer something big and good to this world, but haven't. I don't know, something really2 voluntary and unpaid, for the sole purpose of helping others. Like maybe help feed the kids in Africa.
25. God is love. It's nice to have faith. You won't feel all lonely and sad if you talk to Him.
